 Soundwave Merchandising is the collaboration of two forces. One, in the music field; One, in the merchandising field. Ken Block is the lead singer and songwriter for the platinum selling independent rock band Sister Hazel. He is a co-founder of the hugely successful music/fan driven events, The Rock Boat and The Rock Slope. As the passionate founder and Director of the Non-Profit organization Lyrics For Life, he has helped to raise nearly a million dollars for children's cancer research programs that enrich the lives of these children and their families. Having had a central role in these successful projects, Ken has gained valuable insight regarding the needs of concert/event promoters, charitable organizations and most importantly, bands who are at any level. This is an incredibly exciting world where timelines, creativity, branding, promotion, community building, event planning, relationships, realities of touring, marketing, networking and the artist's perspective are all key components for a smooth and exciting ride. Ken brings with him his creativity, understanding of the industry and his infamous excitement and passion to the Sound Wave team.
